The demand for teachers proficient in computer science education is surging. The program offers two pathways to obtain supplementary authorization in computer science and will authorize the holder to teach the supplementary subject matter content typically included in curriculum guidelines and textbooks for study in grades K-12.
These tracks provide students with the necessary coursework for supplementary authorization in computer science. The supplementary authorization is awarded and administered by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
