Aug 25, 2024My name is Mehdi Mashhadi Ebrahim. I purchased two apartments worth over 2 million Dirhams in Damac Hills. Based on my own experience, I would advise everyone against buying or investing with DAMAC. The company does not deliver on its promises.
In my purchase contract, it was agreed that I would not have to pay service charges for one of my apartments, but this agreement was unilaterally revoked. Since I do not reside permanently in Dubai, I provided DAMAC with a check, which was cashed a month before the payment was actually due. Because I was not present and had no way to cover my account in time, the check bounced.
As a result, a travel ban was imposed on me, and I had to pay a 3000 Euro fine to lift the ban. Penalties were imposed on me that are completely incomprehensible, and there is no one to address these issues.
I will advise everyone in Germany and anywhere else I can to avoid buying from DAMAC. I will use all available media to make this situation public. Professionally, I have good contacts with the media in Germany, and I will publish all the documents.
